Driving Lessons Currie

Currie is a suburb of Edinburgh and home to one of the two driving test centres serving the Edinburgh area, with Currie on the West of the city and Musselburgh to the East. Learning to drive in the Currie and Balerno area offer the learner driver something more than the usual narrow, residential streets found in Edinburgh, there is a village feel to the area especially around Balerno. Because of their position on the outskirts of the city there are a plethora of narrow and wide country roads with sharp bends, blind summits and speeds reaching national speed limit. Riccarton Road links Currie to the A71 Calder Road, where learner drivers learn the art of the Spiral Roundabout. With access to the Edinburgh City Bypass, the main dual carriageway connecting the West and East of Edinburgh around its Southern border, learner drivers can really experience everything the test can throw at them, as well as giving them the confidence to get out and drive anywhere once they have passed their driving test.​
